The Holy Spirit teacher

One of the biggest detriments to learning for my Sunday school students is me. When I take the roll of teacher away from the Holy Spirit, I substitute God’s word for my dogma and make a bunch of little johns instead of Christs. A teacher needs faith to trust the Holy Spirit to teach his class. The teacher becomes the coordinator and the Holy Spirit the teacher. With this in mind, give the Holy Spirit time to speak…in other words do not avoid “dead air” Don’t talk too much or too long. Don’t fear questions you cannot answer. The Holy Spirit knows all the answers, and will answer them in His time. (1 John 2:20)
