I picked this book up in our Christian bookstore, and although it is not a Christian book per say, it is quite thought provoking and appropriate for all “people of the book”.
Bruce Feiler has the skill of a travel writer. While reading this book, I not only saw what he described, I wished to visit the locations for myself. A picture might be worth a thousand words, but a thousand fit words can communicate a nuance that a picture could not. Here theology, archaeology, history, culture, geography and Bible meet. Walking the Bible is helping me exercise my mind as I read the books of Moses.
